Keeping Fed – April ’15

Birthdays and parties and tag sales, OH MY!

April was a busy month and I found that I kept tripping over my own feet.  But I wouldn’t trade a single minute.

As I sit here and write, I am welcomed by a little mama bird that has made her nest outside my studio window on our front porch.  Her song is beautiful and I’m happy she is comfortable there.  All I ask of her is to please not poop on our porch.  We’ll see how that goes.

I was honored to be featured for my ninth time in the Poughkeepsie Journal.  You can check out that feature here.

I found this medicine cabinet on the Hudson Valley Tag Sale site and am going to start painting it today.  I’m thinking a crisp white.

On my way to the busiest and best tag sale ever yesterday (yes, I will be blogging about this tag sale next week), I drove by this piece of Americana.  So terrific.

I almost got a whip lash when Sean slammed on the breaks for this cool chair sitting on the side of the rode.  Stay tuned for that transformation.  Thanks, neighbor.

And speaking of neighbors, this one strolled by our house yesterday to say hello.

I love living in the country!

And after working on projects all day, I am going to relish sitting on our back porch, taking in the serenity.

Cheers to April!

Thanks for Keeping Fed!
