There are two words that I don’t welcome in the least, and send me into riggers.
Arctic. Blast.
I hear them and I dream of hopping on the next plane out to somewhere warm and toasty. But alas, some dreams remain dreams, and I crank up the heat and put some extra logs on the fire. Being ever mindful of fireplace safety requirements, I am sharing a few with you today in my DIY Dutchess column and video.
From making sure the fireplace is cleaned of burned ashes before building a new fire, to showing you how to build a toasty fire the old fashioned way (no need for duraflame logs), I’ve got it all covered in this week’s video.
Before you enjoy your next fire in the fireplace, be sure and check out my fireplace safety tips! You can watch them here.
